"Why am I being pulled over?!" is something that sounds all too familiar to many of us.  Each of us has some sort of negative association with police officers, and if we don’t- then chances are that we are friends with someone who has had a fairly negative experience with police officers.  Most of us know and usually obey the rules of the road.  However, there are some of us who could care less because we have GOT to get to that appointment or that meeting or to pick up someone from somewhere.  I would venture to guess that usually, approximately 90 percent of people know why they’ve been stopped before the police officer even gets to their driver’s side door.  There is no reason why a police officer would pull you over unless you were violating some law.  We don’t like to get pulled over for this reason- that, and the fact that it puts on the same level as criminals because everyone knows that only criminals break the law.
