It really pays to read the monthly newsletter that your credit card sends you.  I get mine online and always check to see in what areas they are giving the most rebate.  I note which card is the best cash back card each month in the various areas and then use that card exclusively for there.   This month I have one credit card that is rebating five per cent of all the money I spend in restaurants.  You do not even have to guess which one is getting my meal ticket business for the next thirty days.  It pays to watch in all areas.
