I respect your opinion, but the reality for business is:

–Gay marriage is now legal advice forum in three states and DC and those marriages are about to be recognized in a few more. I suspect that given the attitudes of the young, gay marriage will be legal outside of the deep South in another generation.

–Gay marriage, or in some cases, civil union, is now legal in much of Europe.

–Same-sex benefits are widespread among multinationals and many smaller businesses as well as many state of local government in the U.S.

–Businesses increasingly market to gays.

–Diversity programs are embedded in almost every company and government agency.

–The U.S. military is about to get rid of DADT.

–Militaries throughout Europe were there 10 to 20 years ago..

–Young people are much more accepting of gays than their parents.

Again, you’re opinion and beliefs I respect. But the trend is toward more inclusiveness and businesses that want to grow beyond a niche need to understand this.
