I think a lot of people underestimate the power of business cards.  There are so many professional people that I know that have business cards, but never use them for anything. Personally, I think that business cards are one of the most important aspects of a career. They are incredibly helpful, and can give you a chance to be creative, if you’re able to design sample business cards for yourself.  Not only are they a great way of exchanging contact information and promoting yourself, but they just look so professional.  Once I have business cards, I will pass them out to everyone I meet.
