My girlfriend and I just got this cat.  She named him John Carlton after her favorite copywriter.  Yep, seems like an odd choice, but she is a writer and thinks this guy is a cool dude. At first, I really didn’t want a cat but I must confess he is kind of cute.  Please don’t tell her I said that.  I would’ve rather had a dog, but we don’t have a yard.  She keeps telling me that John is going to get lonely and needs another writing mate.  I have a feeling we’re getting another kitten. She takes care of him and feeds him so I really cant complain.  He has been fun to play with.  As long as I don’t have to take care of them, we can have the whole band of cats.
