November 12th, 2008 by admin

Buying a car can be an important decision that impacts your household budget considerably. This involves not only the cost of the vehicle, but also the cost of the fuel that that you will have to spend every week. So then how can you choose the right one from all different gas saving vehicles?  Well, as a principle, choosing a fuel efficient car mainly depends on the size of the vehicle, as well as the size of the engine.  Don’t forget that as the car gets bigger, its fuel costs will increase too.  However, buying a hybrid car can be a solution, as these types of cars will use electricity in combination with gasoline for their operation.

A car mover needs your help to do a good job

October 29th, 2008 by admin

A car mover can be experienced and have all the office and logistic support he needs. But unless you are able to give him some help, he will not do the best job with your vehicle when he moves it from one city to the next. Or inter state. What you can do with your vehicle to help the car mover is simple, but important. empty the petrol tank, for one thing. Or nearly empty it. And clean out the luggage and anything unnecessary in the trunk. Next, clean up the inside, including the glove box, and leave the car’s interior the way you want it to be delivered to you at the other end.  Simple things, but the car mover will appreciate this help from you and it will make his job easier and more sure.

A lot of car dealers, car rental agencies and car auction specialists can prepare their cars for resale or rental.  The Dent Repair for Rental Cars are rarely known by many car owners.  This process uses the most highly fabricated tools and techniques that are designed to repair the dents.  Oftentimes, the dents can be the size of a football which can be located in any parts of the panel of a car.  This is a great service because there’s no need for sanding, body filler or even repainting.  After the process has been completed, the dent can now be untraceable.

October 19th, 2008 by admin

After an airbag deployment it is not really necessary to replace your airbags with a new one.  One solution is to Re-set the Airbag Control Module.  If you bought new airbags and install it on your car and you find that the airbag lights are flashing then there is something wrong with the system.  Be careful because there are some car dealers and auto mechanics who will tell you that it is impossible to reset the airbag control module.  Fortunately, you can reset all kinds of airbag control modules.  Resetting the airbag control module can even save you some extra time and money.

Water: Answer to the High Cost of Gas?

October 15th, 2008 by admin

It’s almost impossible to turn on TV without seeing a newscaster either talking about the high cost of fuel or alternatives to gas.

Personally, I’ve looked into all of it and examined everything from drilling in Alaska to using corn as a fuel. But what really caught my attention was water.

During my research I discovered that it’s possible to buy kits which convert a car so that you can run your car on water. The kits can be built and installed by anyone, in a short time.

Once a car is converted, it uses water as fuel and gets great gas mileage while reducing pollution.

So far this sounds like one of the best ideas I’ve read about and I believe we’re going to be hearing more about it in the media.

One of the most popular diesel performance truck accessories are diesel fuel injectors. The main benefit to upgrading your fuel injectors is of course more power and better fuel economy. Diesel performance fuel injectors come in a wide variety of makes and models and can add up to 150hp to your diesel engine. With better performance means better fuel consumption, and we all know that better fuel consumption means. Saving more money at the pumps, and with the rising fuel costs if any of use still want to drive a truck we have to be concerned about saving more money at the pumps.

A Few More Gas Saving Tips

October 4th, 2008 by admin

Getting better gas milage is a simple as making sure your car is lighter.  I don’t mean a smaller car but I am talking about cleaning out your car.  The less the car ways then the better your gas mileage.  Another little tip is avoid idling as much as possible.  If you are in a situation where you are in a line waiting then it is best to turn your car off while you wait.  One more tip is to utilize your cruise control.  Cruise control accelerates at a smooth rate.  Fast accelerating causes your car to use more gas.  Find a route to work or school that less areas where you have to slow down to allow your cruise control to work longer.  These simple tips can really help you save at the pump.

Higher Gas Mileage: Where Do I Sign?

September 29th, 2008 by admin

Trends are like waves. They come in and they go back out.

This is how I felt when I first heard about the how- to-run-your-car-on-gas thing… another trend… here today, gone tomorrow.

That was until a buddy of mine showed up at my place bragging about how many miles per gallon he was now getting.

Naturally I asked a few questions, and being the water car pro that he was, my buddy excitingly answered.

He explained how he bought the water converter kit, had it installed, and within one tank of gas saw a 20% increase in mileage.

Where do I sign?
