Good reason to get some storage racking installed

October 25th, 2009 by admin

It happens not very often. But she’s coming. Mother-in-law that is. No she’s not the archetypal mother-in-law who is a pain in the neck. She’s lovely. But she’s a stickler for keeping things tidy and hates to have nothing to do. She’s over 70, but if she saw a million weeds in our garden she would remove every one before allowing herself to go home. We do have a few storage issues, though, which we must sort out before she arrives, or she will be so busy we won’t be able to take her tripping as planned. So, we are installing some new garden tool racks outside in the shed plus some new DC racks indoors. That should deal with the worst of the problems. She won’t dare go in our teenage son’s bedroom, so that can remain as it is.

In the next few years I will get it fixed

October 25th, 2009 by admin

I have not had too many big repair projects on my house yet but I have only lived there for about 2 years. I do not want to Jinx myself but I am pretty happy with the shape my house is in. I am going to get some basement waterproofing paint and paint my basement next summer. I do not see any cracks and I have not seen any evidence of leaking but I do not want to take any chances. I just hope I can borrow a dehumidifier from someone to speed up the drying process in the basement of the house.

My Experience Like Home

October 24th, 2009 by admin

There are so many holiday parks around the the world where travelers go and stay when on vacation. I think the way they are set up for the visitors are convenient, neat, and comfortable. My experience staying at one was fantastic. When I arrived at the park to the home I was renting for that week,my husband and I unpacked our luggage and went out to view the city. Afterwards,we decided to prepare and cook our dinner in the kitchen of the home. We then sat and watched television the rest of the night. It was just like we were home.

October 21st, 2009 by admin

Oh Hallows Eve this year is going to be one of the best that I have ever had I can just feel it. I am helping to throw a party this year and we are going all out with everything. We have over twenty halloween props, 200 spiders with webs and that is just the beginning. We are planning on having a haunted house going through the whole house and we even hired a band to play. It is going to be some party that’s for sure. I just don’t know what we are gong to do to top ourselves next year.

Bistro Blinds

October 20th, 2009 by admin

I have a café and I’m looking for ways to improve the ambience. I’ve installed and invested a lot of stuff already. I still feel there’s something missing. A friend of mine who also has a café in another state told me that I should have bistro blinds. He has one in his café and the people seem to like it. I guess I should be doing that as well. There’s no harm in trying and besides, what could be so bad about these blinds? I do hope this will be effective in improving the environment of my café. I want people to relax and have a great time while taking their coffee.window shutter

The street fashion text I got from Beth

October 19th, 2009 by admin

On Saturday I was forced to go to traffic school for half of the day. I had gotten a ticket a few weeks back. I didn’t want to have the point on my driving record so I opted to take the traffic class instead. After a few minutes of watching a very dull traffic film I started to text back and forth with my friend Beth. At one point Beth  sent me a text message with a question. The question was Street Style Fashion from Japan and at what Price?. I then realized she was asking me about the website we saw the other day.

Better than Stockings!

October 17th, 2009 by admin

My favorite part of Christmas has always been stuffing the stockings haning over the fireplace. I love getting creative about what little things I can put in each of my kid’s stockings to make them think, wow, Santa really knows me. It was my favorite Christmas tradition. Then, last year, a friend of mine turned me on to another traditions that I like just as well if not better. Basically, you go online and sign up to have a letter from Santa sent to your kids. You can customize them and add personal insights that only Santa would know about your kids. They love it and so do I.

Who Sells the Most Affordable Bunk Beds?

October 16th, 2009 by admin

We are moving to a new house, and the bedrooms are a bit smaller than the ones in our current house. I think that we are going to need to get the kids bunk beds in order to be able to fit everything into their room. They, of course, will be thrilled with this idea since they like these beds and have been asking for them. We haven’t gotten them in the past because they already had two perfectly good beds and there was no reason to replace them. I guess this will help to increase their enthusiasm for the new house.

Garbage man

October 16th, 2009 by admin

Ronald has been working as a garbage man for the past year. It was the only job he could get because he had never finished high school. It wasn’t that bad, plus he needed this job to support his wife who had just given birth to their baby boy.  Being a garbage collector is a dirty job but it has its perks. People throw away a lot of good stuff, especially those people who belong in the upper class. Sometimes Ronald couldn’t understand why some people would consider some of the things as garbage when they were still perfectly useful. But he wasn’t complaining. Some of the items he had salvaged were a chipped armoire (which is now in his bedroom, two Used espresso machines (one of which he gave to his parents), a globe, a couple of pots and pans, and some souvenir items. In Ronald’s case you can say that One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

One World

October 15th, 2009 by admin

There are a whole bunch of folks who are convinced that a cabal of the elite are trying to make a one-world government. Once they merge the world governments, they can, well, rule the word. Then the rich get a lot richer. Anyone who tries to protests and stop them will be squashed like a bug. The folks who believe in this theory say one way they will gain control is with a universal id chip embedded into the skin. With that, they can cut off your funds and basically erase you identity. You think you have credit card debt problems now.

Surebond Paver Sealers On A Driveway

October 15th, 2009 by admin

My friend that lives down the street is having his driveway sealed this week, so I went to ask him about the job and what it means. I did not really know that you could have concrete sealed and I guess that it protects the surface from weeds and other things like that. It can also make the concrete last longer. The brand of product he is using to seal it is Surebond paver sealers. Surebond paver sealers is supposed to be the best that money can buy and very high quality. He said that they are professional grade products that he would highly recommend.

Buying Chihuahua dog clothes

October 15th, 2009 by admin

Been thinking about Chihuahua dog clothes. My friend has one and wants to get something for it for Christmas. The dog’s name is Frank and he’s not your average dog. He’s a star. And being a star he deserves something fabulous to wear.

Frank is very new to the family and adored by all because he has the cutest eyes and just loves to be picked up and stroked.

I think I will get him a harlequin pattern waistcoat in red, green and black with white stitching. It has a vertical column down the front which adds a bit of detail and the colours are very festive.

Also after a pair of reindeer antlers. Seen some cute ones with green band and red antlers with mistletoe between. Frank will look a picture and get all the kisses he deserves on Christmas day.
