How much extra would you be willing to pay for the sake of healthy eating I wonder? It’s an interesting discussion – when the big food giants are taken to task for their methods of producing food and the additives they often use in their finished products they will often cite consumer preference for cheaper foodstuffs as the reason for these practices. And, to be fair, they do have a point – we have become used to picking up food at a fraction of the cost – in real terms that is – that would have been paid only a few years ago.
