Lifestyle Modifications For Lower Blood Pressure

December 21st, 2007 by admin

Many people give up on lifestyle changes to lower blood pressure because they only think about the big issues such as weight, exercise and diet. Some get frustrated because losing weight and getting in shape can be difficult and it takes a long time to make an impact. But there are other lifestyle factors that are easy to deal with and can make a quick difference in your blood pressure. Stress, for example, is a major contributor to high blood pressure. Genuine, daily relaxation can often relieve hypertension in short order. Slow breathing too, just 15 minutes a day, can also lower blood pressure when everything else has failed.
