One Of The Most Unknown Signs Of Depression: A Disturbed Sleep Pattern

I guess it’s common knowledge that “Feeling Sad” in one way or the other, over a prolonged period of time, is one of the most known Signs Of Depression. On the other end of the rope however, there a lots of less know signs and symptoms. A disturbed sleep pattern is one of them. It’s a sign that is connected to may forms of depression.

Even if you are perfectly healthy, a disturbed sleeping pattern can get you into some real trouble. Now imagine you are NOT healthy. Imagine you are depressed. Now a sudden and unhealthy change in the way you sleep and the number of hours you get to charge your batteries, will not only get you in trouble, it can be devastating.

Let’s face it, once depressed, a patient sees a lot of dark clouds and hardly any silver linings. A lack of sleep, will just strengthen his or her believe in the darkness of the world. They’ll feel more fatigued while instead, they should have the energy to be able to fight the illness.

Whenever you think you might be suffering form depression, check your sleep pattern over the last 2 or 3 weeks. If you feel it’s going downhill, you may just have found another sign of depression. Maybe it’s time to call your doctor.
