I remembered my ex-boss had this mantra in life and according to him, he had it patented for fear that somebody might steal his idea away from him. He said that he was the first one who thought of it. I am sure he made his research and learned about Statutory Invention Registration that made him register his idea.  His idea was about something like making his work his home or something like that. Since he is the hr head, he made all the employees believe in that and at that time I vehemently refused to believe in it because my work is never my home. I always made a point that whenever I am at home, I do not think about work and vice versa.
