ADSL is Dial Up Moved Up

Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) is the name for an Internet access line that is used in sync with dial up services. It is dial up with a greater level of speed and is accessible by both business and home modems. With the high level of speed and the special set up, ADSL it is possible to make phone calls while using the Internet. A special modem is set up to allow for this function. It is also possible for more than one person to be in a network. Typically this line is used for businesses but home access is possible if a hub is nearby.
