According to a report on iPod Blog, Apple Inc. (AAPL) has introduced in South Korea its newest range of iPod portable media players, such as the second-generation iPod Touch and the fourth- generation iPod nano, the Yonhap news agency said, citing the company’s Korean unit.

The latest iPods, released by the main company’s chief executive Steve Jobs two weeks ago in the U.S., are now on South Korean shelves, Apple Korea said according to Yonhap.

The upgraded and slimmer iPod Touch has a built-in speaker and external keys for volume control, while the new iPod nano has a 2-inch display. It also has a built-in motion-sensing “accelerometer” that allows various controls by shaking and rotating the device, the South Korean news agency said.
