Control all the text on your page — at once

In your introduction to HTML classes, you will no doubt learn about the basefont tag — when you use it on your webpage, you can set the “default” attributes or characteristics for text when it is displayed on your page: the size, font style, color, etc. If you do not elect to change any of the settings, every time text is displayed on your webpage, this default setting will be used. To deviate from the default setting in any way, all you need to do is specify a different attribute with a particular group of text — if you want a block of text to be larger, then include that block of text along with the attribute to specify a particular (new) text size.
