I have recently purchased a DVD printer and I love it! The model I bought was the Microboards GX DVD printer, which is the baby of the Microboards range. Its quiet slow compared to some of the other DVD printers on the market such as the Microboards PF3 or the PF Pro but the print quality is absolutely superb and the ink cost seems to be really low. The GX DVD printer connects directly into my Mac and getting my designs from my screen onto the disc is really easy. I honestly would recommend the GX DVD printer to anyone wanting to print short runs of discs.
