Marine AV installations

Installing high end audio video systems in Superyachts requires a special skill set – good communication with the boat yard is a must and the whole installation must be planned to the smallest detail months in advance. We supply wiring diagrams and backboxes in advance to allow the shipyard to incorporate them at the building stage – ensuring an excellent finish.
Our Superyacht installations rely on low profile Cat5e cabling to ensure easy routing of cabling in tight spaces. The installed system provides high definition audio and video to each cabin and allows easy distribution of centralised sources such as satellite receivers and Kaleidescape DVD servers. This centralised approach allows different people to share resources or be completely independent – allowing someone to leave the on-board cinema for bed and continue watching whilst someone in a different cabin watches either another film or satellite TV.
Our superyacht systems even have the capabillity to control lighting throughout the boat ensuring your new boat is always looking its best.
Custom Controls advertises it’s marine services in the Superyacht guide to the Mediterranean, Caribbean and USA. They have offices in Manchester and London.
