When planning a vacation with your child and your spouse is not with you, it is a good idea to prepare for a Travel Consent Letter signed by your spouse who is not travelling or coming on the trip with you. Children who is below 18 years old are most of the times being asked of such document especially when crossing borders or going to an international travel. This is required by some countries because of the alarming incident of child abduction and the growing crime rate of kidnapping and child trafficking. Think of it as a protection for your child as well because at least you know there are some processes being done about child crimes.
