ABOUT US
The Buckfield Inn is a family-owned and operated pub and accommodation in Kilmeena, just minutes from Westport, Co. Mayo. Proudly run by the Fitzgerald family for four generations, the Inn was acquired by Thomas Fitzgerald in February 1927, with evidence of its roots as a public house dating back to the late 1800s.
Today, the Fitzgerald family continue a long tradition of warm, genuine Irish hospitality, offering a friendly welcome to locals and visitors alike. Deeply embedded in the heart of the community, The Buckfield Inn remains an important landmark for the people of Kilmeena — a place to gather, relax, and feel at home.

Lovely pub with amazing owners! They let us pitch our tent in their beer garden for one night during our bike trip and even opened the door in the morning so we could use the toilet. Atmosphere in the pub was great as well!

Really nice family owned pub and B&B. Comfortable, cosy, and clean rooms where you can rest after experiencing the spirit of an authentic Irish pub. The service is perfect, they always make sure that you are having the best time. If you come near, jump in. You won't regret it!
